Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics provides a rigorous foundation in core areas of mathematics and offers two tracks: Theoretical Mathematics and Mathematics Education. This program emphasizes mathematical reasoning, problem solving, and communication, while allowing students to pursue advanced study aligned with their academic and career goals.
The Theoretical Mathematics track prepares students for graduate study and mathematically intensive careers through advanced, proof-based coursework. The Mathematics Education track prepares students for careers in teaching mathematics by combining a strong mathematical foundation with coursework focused on pedagogy and educational practice. Graduates are prepared for a variety of professional and academic pathways.
