MINOR-FREN - Minor in French

The minor in French consists of 18 semester hours of FREN at the 200-level and above, at least 6 hours of which must be numbered above 299.  The required courses are 

• FREN 201 (3) Intermediate French I 

• FREN 202 (3) Intermediate French II 

• FREN 250 (3) Intermed Composition and Conversation 

May include the following as electives:

• MLAN 330 A, B, C (1-6) French Language and Cultural Studies Abroad  

• MLAN 530 A, B, C (1-6) French Language and Cultural Studies Abroad  

(FREN 101-102, or the equivalent, are prerequisites for all other FREN courses; however, they may not be applied toward fulfillment of requirements in the minor.)
