Free Form Requirements

The minor in Gerontology consists of 15 semester hours. The required six hours are selected from the following courses:

  • GRNT/SCWK 300 (3) Introduction to Gerontology OR GRNT/PSYC/SOCL 504 (3) Sociology of Aging
     

  • PSYC 335 (3) Biological Psychology OR GRNT/SOCL 304 (3) Death and Grief as Social Processes 


For six of the final nine credit hours, students choose one elective from each of two categories.

 For the final elective three credit hours, students may choose from either category.
