MINOR-EDUC - Minor-Educational Studies

The Educational Studies Minor is designed for students preparing for the Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program. The Educational Studies Minor does not lead to teacher licensure without significantly more coursework. The Educational Studies Minor consists of a total of at least 15 credits. The courses included will, in part, help students prepare for the MAT admission requirements, allow for exploration of the dispositions needed for teaching in K-12 settings, provide field experience opportunities, and provide flexibility during the MAT terms.
